Would you like to help me brainstorm the title for my upcoming novel? Here’s your chance!
Answer this question in the comments below: What is your favorite kind of book to read?
Commenters who answer the question will be entered and five names will be drawn randomly to meet with me live via Zoom in late October to help brainstorm a title for first novel.
In case you’re wondering, Sally and the Cowboy is not a romance. Now you see my dilemma. It is contemporary Christian fiction.
Winners will receive a pdf copy of the book to read prior to the one-hour brainstorming session. They will also receive acknowledgement in the book for their participation in helping to title the book.
Deadline to leave your comment is Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020. Names will be drawn Oct. 4 and announced on Monday, Oct. 5.
I love to read any genre if the author is very obviously a gifted storyteller.
Christian values or principles are a must for me as a reader in a world where it seems many need and are searching for direction in their own lives.
Hi, Steve! You’ve crossed my mind several times this week. Hope your book launch is going well. Glad you had time to visit my blog.
I like to read biographies and commentaries of great Christians and historical books.
Paul, the only biography I’ve ever read was one on Winston Churchill.
I love any fiction–historical, contemporary, cozy mystery, thriller/suspense…like you, I’m not big on romance. Romance can be a subplot, but not the main thing.
I’m not big on thriller/suspense (enough of that in real life). But I like all the rest. Cozy mystery is my favorite.
Social history, comparative religion, memoir, Christian history—non-fiction all.
Deep topics, Pam. But I can’t imagine a life without fiction books.
Self help and educational from gardening all the way to watercolor
I read a lot of self-help myself, usually relating to writing or marketing.
Brainstorming title: Sally’s Favorite Cowboy
LOL, Pam, that is a fun title, except this cowboy is definitely not her favorite!
I love Christian biographies and autobiographies. And books about the Christian disciplines.
My favorite kind of book to read is a nonfiction book about the reality of life..
I love historical christian romance novels. I don’t care if they are set in Victorian England or the old west. I’m just drawn to them. However, I don’t shy away from a good contemporary christian novel.
I enjoy historical novels, too, but lately it seems the romance has been too sappy for my taste, and too formulaic. Do you have an author or two you enjoy the most?
